Being busy doing amazing things is second nature for Sarah Vigon. Originally from the Greater Los Angeles area, Sarah attended the University of Santa Barbara and graduated with a BA in Sociology and Women's Studies. While in college, Sarah performed in and later directed a completely student run and sponsored musical theater company. She was also involved with a Jewish organization on campus and began to really explore what her Judaism meant to her and what role she wanted it to play in her life. After graduating, Sarah moved to Los Angeles and began working in the non-profit sector. She was active in the Aish Pico community but decided it was time to go to Israel for an extended time. Shortly after arriving in Israel, Sarah met Ricki and they were married later that year. While Ricki was learning at Aish HaTorah, Sarah was the counselor of the Aish Discovery program – the same day-long learning session that had been pivotal in her own growth. Two adorable boys and two-and-a-half years later, the Vigons relocated to work at Penn State. Sarah learns with girls on a daily basis, teaches classes for girls, and fills her house to capacity each week for Shabbos. Now one more adorable baby girl later, she still loves every hectic minute!
